Navigating through a change in career. Working in a male-dominated workforce; how it challenges us; builds up; the unique dimension women bring; we don't have to be like men. Challenges of promoting within your organization; supervising/leading those who were your peers; having hard conversations.

The Importance of the Record on Appeal

Judge Gerald Baca, former Fourth Judicial District Court Judge; he was appointed by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham to the Court of Appeals in April 2021; his years of experience make him the perfect person to speak on the importance of the Record on Appeal and the crucial role the Court Reporter plays in that regard, as well as addressing disasters that happen when the Record on Appeal is not up to the standard that we all hold true to our hearts!
