This seminar is designed to help the court reporter hook up realtime and be successful, whether it be sending the realtime feed to their own computer or outputting to attorneys both in the room and over the Internet, and the different ways realtime feed can be transmitted.

CPR training will be taught by Christopher LaCounte, BSN, RN, CEN, NRP, LP, a registered nurse board certified in emergency medicine and also a licensed paramedic.  Chris holds several national certifications in emergency medicine, stroke management, cardiac care, and disaster management.  Chris has been inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association.  Chris was awarded the Healthcare Magazine RN Traveler of the Year and was also awarded New Mexico EMT Rookie of the Year.  Chris currently works full time at UNM Health Sciences Center, New Mexico's only Level 1 trauma center, and is also an instructor with Eastern New Mexico University, where he has taught nursing and EMS since 1994.  Chris has been an American Heart Association CPR instructor for 20 years.

Presented by Mark Kislingbury, CSR, RDR, CRR, FAPR.  Mark began his career as a freelance court reporter in 1983 in Houston, Texas.  He began working on realtime from the beginning and has won 11 total NCRA speed and realtime contests.  He also has a Guinness World Record for "Fastest Court Reporter" for passing a one- minute take at 360 wpm with 97.22 percent accuracy in 2004.  He is the author of four court reporting books and runs the popular Internet training site for court reporters, the Magnum Steno Club.  He opened a court reporting school in 2011 and has six new graduates so far, averaging 1 year and 9 months to graduate.  He is the author of his own theory, the Magnum Steno Theory, and the author of "My System:  The Road to Realtime Excellence," currently in the NCRA bookstore.
